Reimagining early childhood development through The Motherload lens webinar

Tags: Responsive care

This webinar, presented by Prof Ameeta Jaga from the University of Cape Town, explores how reimagining early childhood development (ECD) through The Motherload lens requires shifting business and policy discourse to view care as a collective social responsibility rather than a private burden. Prof Jaga explores essential reform areas needed to build more equitable and thriving communities, including (1) policies and investments that free up women’s time; (2) expanding access to quality childcare, (3) enhancing transport and digital infrastructure; and (4) creating pathways for women’s skills development and economic participation.
